We're getting our family portrait taken this Saturday so last weekend I went shopping for new outfits. I think we'll look cute, but I know it'll depend on how happy everyone is the day and time of the photo shoot!
I'm not a person who enjoys shopping. The only kind of shopping that I really enjoy is grocery shopping. Anything to do with food, I love. I haven't been as excited about cooking as I usually am, but life is too busy right now.
I love this fall weather!!! Cool nights, warm days, blue skies and beautiful yellow, red and orange trees!
Yes, for those of you following our church saga...we have switched churches. I'm getting used to it still, but Brian's stepped right up and joined the hand bell choir. It's the same church where we exchanged wedding vows five years ago (this December) so it will always have good memories associated with it.
I'm still plugging away at my Shaklee business. My mom hosted a Cinch party last week and two ladies came. The liked the Cinch tea so each of them bought a box. I sold some lotion and a soy candle that I had had forever so that was nice to see disappear. Here's my Cinch website www.cinchplan.com/sarah_kennedy for more info on that great tea!
Brian's started his own little business too helping set up and support/host United Methodist Church websites. He set up Coos Bay's website. It sounds like there is a great need for that service out there! Way to go, Brian!

Wow! There are a lot of people hitting my blog who are looking up Cinch Plan or Cinch Club. It's the cool new weight loss plan from Shaklee! I'm still nursing so I'm not doing all the steps, but I have tried the tea and the bars. My mom is doing the plan and so far she loves it! I hope you are finding what you're looking for! I just created my own Shaklee web site and included is my own Cinch Club web site too. Good luck!!!
Lately, Claire has been hitting Elliot. We don't quite know what to do. We know she loves him, we know she doesn't want to make us unhappy or mad, but her self-control is lacking. It's weird, but normal, I guess. I hope this is a short phase, but to quote the book The Girlfriend's Guide to Toddlers, this period really is "psychological warfare!" Later, the book says parents look back on this period as "spontaneity." We'll see about that!

I was a French teacher for four years, a life-long dream achieved. Now, I'm taking a serious break to raise a family. I go to a United Methodist Church regularly with my husband, daughter and son. For my future ideal job, I'd love to travel the world eating in great restaurants and write food reviews!!! Someday I'd like to live on the Oregon Coast and be a translator for French tourists! However, in the meantime I'm earning a substantial income with Jewels by Park Lane, subbing & Shaklee!
